AMHA Show Information

 Start time Saturday and Sunday 8:30am

 

AMHA Approved:  This is an AMHA approved show and will be conducted under the rules and regulations of AMHA.

 

Class Information:  MAMHC is offering a wide variety of AMHA classes and some Fun non-AMHA approved classes.   Many of the Non-AMHA classes have reduced pricing and a few are Free. MAMHC is also offering a new AMHR show that will be held on Friday the 25th. Please see AMHR premium list and forms for more information. 

 

Flat Rate Package -MAMHC is offering a flat rate horse package. Once you accumulate $100 (Pre-entries) or $125 (Post Entries) worth of AMHA class entry fees the rest of the AMHA classes are free for that horse.   Office, stall and AMHA fees still apply. 

 

Awards:  Awards will be given in the form of vouchers that can be used at the park restaurant, participating vendors, or turned in at the office for the appropriate ribbon, or can be used to pay for entry fees for added classes (Not Cash Back). Grand and Reserve class winners will receive rosette ribbons.  MAMHC Overall High Point awards will be given in Youth, Amateur, and Driving.  For more details and eligibility please see Highpoint form. 

 

Registration Papers/ Stallion Certificates/ Gelding Status: A copy of registration papers (front and back) must be included with your entry form or official letter from AMHA. Your horse will not be entered without registration papers with the exception of weanlings. Weanlings must have a Valid AMHA number in order to show.  All Paper work must be up to date with AMHA.  Stallions 3 years or older must have a copy of the AMHA Senior Stallion Verification Report.  Geldings must have their status documented on their AMHA papers in order to show as a gelding.

 

Youth and Amateur cards:  Copies of 2010 Youth and Amateur cards are required with show entries.   Both youth and amateur applications will be available at the show office at AMHA rates. These will be sent to the organization and a card will be issued to the exhibitor.  Please if you have a current 2010 card – Include a copy with your entries!!

 

Entry Forms:  Entry forms must be complete and signed.  See Entry Form and Stall reservation sheet for Fees.  PLEASE put your contact phone number and email address (if available) on your entry form.  Include Copies of BOTH sides of AMHA registration papers of each horse, lease information, copy of youth and/or Amateur cards, Stallion Verification, Stall Reservation Sheet, and a check/money order with entries.  All entries must be paid for before receiving back numbers.  Exhibitors are welcome to leave open checks that are to be settled by the end of the show.  There is a $25 returned check fee.   Checks are to be made out to MAMHC and mailed to Kim Sullivan 289 Galloway Rd Stamping Ground, KY 40379.

 

Post/Late entries:  Entries must be postmarked by June 10th   to avoid late Fees!  Post/Late entry fees are $5.00 per Class.  If Post/late fees are owed they will be calculated and charged at the show.  Please contact show management if you need to post enter.

 

Measuring: Horses must be measured prior to receiving back numbers.  All horses must meet their age height requirements.  Scheduled times for measuring are:  Thursday 3:00pm – 9:00pm, Friday 6:45am to 8:00am and 7:00pm-9:00pm, Sat/Sunday from 6:45-8:00am.   Please notify show management if you need to measure at a different time.  There will be an AMHA measuring Steward and an AMHR measuring Steward.  If your horse is also showing in the AMHR shows it must measure under both Stewards before receiving It’s back number.  An AMHR show measurement will not count for an  official AMHA measurement or vise versa
